Essex garden pond survey

Southend Council and The Essex Biodiversity Partnership want garden pond owners to contribute to their survey.

 Details  
The Essex Biodiversity Partnership are interested in records from right across Essex, so if you live in that county and you have a pond, why not take part? The Biodiversity Partnership want to monitor the status of great crested newts (Triturus cristatus), but you don't have to have any of those in your pond to take part! Even results from small garden ponds are valuable.
